GIZ has officially delivered the first four electric vehicles from a 22-vehicle fleet to support Saint Lucia’s shift toward cleaner, more sustainable transport. This handover marks an important milestone under the NDC-TEC Electric Vehicle Pilot, an initiative designed to help decarbonize the transport sector and support the country’s commitments under the Paris Agreement. In addition to the vehicle rollout, the project will introduce solar-powered charging infrastructure to ensure the fleet is supported by clean, local energy. Click here for the full release.
