The Global Network of Regional Sustainable Energy Centres (GN-SEC), coordinated by UNIDO, works with regional centres to promote renewable energy, energy efficiency, and sustainable industrial development. To strengthen its visibility and outreach, GN-SEC is establishing a pool of freelance graphic designers to support ad hoc communication needs.
Objective
To develop and deliver high-quality graphic design products that effectively communicate the GN-SEC’s mission, activities, and impact.
Scope of Work (tasks may include, but are not limited to):
- Design of social media graphics, infographics, and promotional visuals
- Layout and formatting of reports, brochures, and knowledge products
- Branding support (logos, templates)
- Design of event materials (banners, roll-ups, invitations, presentations)
- Creation of digital storytelling materials (visuals for campaigns, animations, short motion graphics)
Deliverables
- Professional, editable design files (AI, PSD, InDesign, etc.)
- Web-optimized versions for online use (JPG, PNG, PDF)
Duration & Modality
- Ad hoc assignments based on needs (no guaranteed volume of work)
- Remote work with flexible timelines depending on the project
Qualifications
- Proven experience in graphic design (portfolio required)
- Familiarity with sustainable development, energy, or international organizations is an asset
- Ability to deliver on tight deadlines
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and/or equivalent design tools
- Fluency in any of these languages: English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, Russian
