RCREEE welcomes the 6th round of the Arab Program for Sustainable Energy Youth (APSEY) Interns

After shortlisting and processing around 800 application, RCREEE contracts six new interns as part of the APSEY program. The contracted interns are from Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Sudan and Yemen. The 6th round started on 10th of April 2016, with the support of the OPEC Fund for International Development (OFID).

During their orientation sessions, the interns received presentations by RCREEE experts. The training presentations were on topics related RCREEE, its projects and strategy. In addition, they learned about energy audits, tendering and transition to renewable energy in the MENA region.

Since the launch of APSEY Program, RCREEE hosted around 23 interns from its 16 member states. APSEY program aims to foster young Arab professional’s knowledge of renewable energy and energy efficiency topics, and to develop their professional skills of presentation, corporate culture and a professional environment.
