Call for GN-SEC Young Graphic Designers and Multimedia Experts

The Global Network of Regional Sustainable Energy Centres (GN-SEC), coordinated by UNIDO, works with regional centres to promote renewable energy, energy efficiency, and sustainable industrial development. To strengthen its visibility and outreach, GN-SEC is establishing a pool of freelance graphic designers to support ad hoc communication needs.

Objective
To develop and deliver high-quality graphic design products that effectively communicate the GN-SEC’s mission, activities, and impact.

Scope of Work (tasks may include, but are not limited to):

  • Design of social media graphics, infographics, and promotional visuals
  • Layout and formatting of reports, brochures, and knowledge products
  • Branding support (logos, templates)
  • Design of event materials (banners, roll-ups, invitations, presentations)
  • Creation of digital storytelling materials (visuals for campaigns, animations, short motion graphics)

Deliverables

  • Professional, editable design files (AI, PSD, InDesign, etc.)
  • Web-optimized versions for online use (JPG, PNG, PDF)

Duration & Modality

  • Ad hoc assignments based on needs (no guaranteed volume of work)
  • Remote work with flexible timelines depending on the project

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in graphic design (portfolio required)
  • Familiarity with sustainable development, energy, or international organizations is an asset
  • Ability to deliver on tight deadlines
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and/or equivalent design tools
  • Fluency in any of these languages: English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, Russian
