Mr. Rui Alberto de Figueiredo Soares, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cabo Verde received in audience Mr. Jean Francis Sempore, Executive Director of ECREEE on October 18, 2022. During the meeting, the Minister reiterated Cabo Verde's support for the activities promoted by ECREEE for the development of renewable energies and the promotion of energy efficiency in the ECOWAS Member States. Mr. Sempore, on the other hand, thanked Mr. Soares for the facilities offered by Cabo Verde to ECREEE and for the quality of the collaboration with the various actors involved in the energy sector and related fields in the country. The construction of an ECOWAS House in Praia, the capital city, was another subject of exchange between the parties. The two parties agreed to pool their efforts to make it a reality in the coming years.
