6th Steering Committee of the Global Network for Regional Sustainable Energy Centres (GN-SEC) from 6 to 8 November 2023

The 6th meeting of the Global Network of Regional Sustainable Energy Centres (GN-SEC) Steering Committee is convened by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) from 6 to 8 November 2023 at the Vienna International Centre (VIC). The event takes place in conjunction with the International Vienna Energy and Climate Forum (IVECF) to be held from 2 to 3 November 2023 at the Vienna Hofburg Imperial Palace. 

In line with the outcomes and the expressed demands in the 5th meeting, this edition of the GN-SEC SC meeting will be dedicated to the development of joint project proposals on priority issues identified in the conducted survey among GN-SEC centres in 2022. It will have a workshop format and include sessions dedicated to specific projects. This portfolio of SSTC projects is to be implemented under the umbrella of the GN-SEC platform in the coming years. The projects will be promoted by UNIDO in the context of the IVECF follow-up, as well as other UN processes. 

This event has a closed format and will gather centres representatives as well as relevant stakeholders.
