RCREEE has been selected to host a session in the European Commission's High Level Policy Conference during the European Union Sustainable Energy Week that will take place 23-27 June 2014 in Brussels, Belgium.

In last year's EU SEW edition, RCREEE was represented by its Executive Director, Dr. Tareq Emtairah, who participated as a panelist during the High Level Policy Conference in the European Commission. This year, RCREEE will host its own event on opportunities for synergy between the EU and the MENA region on sustainable energy, to be held on 24 June 2014.

The EU Sustainable Energy Week is a European Commission initiative that takes place every year to spread best practices and inspiring ideas among participants, and to build alliances to help meet the EU's energy and climate goals.
