PROMOTING CLEAN COOKING SOLUTIONS AND SOLAR TECHNOLOGIES

The ECOWAS Centre for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (ECREEE) began its activities in 2010 with funding from the ECOWAS Commission and donors such as the Austrian Development Agency (ADA), the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID) and technical assistance from the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO). Since then, ECREEE has expanded its network of donors and partners to more than twenty (20) organizations, covering both the financial and technical areas of the partnerships.

According to the memorandum of understanding signed between ECREEE and AECID, the project "Water and Energy for Greater Food Security and Socio-Economic Development" is being carried out in three ECOWAS countries, namely Cape Verde, Guinea-Bissau and The Gambia. As a preparatory phase for the project, baseline studies will be carried out in these countries in order to identify the value chains and communities in which the project will be developed.

With this in mind, ECREEE is seeking to contract an international company to provide consultancy services in accordance with the attached Terms of Reference (ToR).
