CONSULTANCY TO SUPPORT THE DEVELOPMENT OF EAC REGIONAL ENERGY EFFICIENCY POLICY

The East African Centre of Excellence for Renewable Energy and Efficiency (EACREEE) is seeking for an individual consultant to support the development of the EAC Regional Energy Efficiency Policy. The EAC Regional Energy Efficiency Policy is part of the deliverable of the “Energy Efficient Lighting and Appliances (EELA) Project in East and Southern Africa” (EELA)” being implemented by EACREEE in partnership with the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO) and the SADC Centre for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (SACREEE).

The EELA project is funded by the Government of Sweden through the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida).  The consultant is expected to provide a backstopping support to EACREEE technical staff in the development of the EAC Regional Energy Efficiency Policy. EACREEE is seeking for an individual consultant to support the development of the EAC Regional Energy Efficiency Policy. The consultant will have technical backstopping from EACREEE technical staff in the development of the EAC Regional Energy Efficiency Policy.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

The individual consultant should be an Energy Policy Expert with at least 10 years’ experience in energy policy development and planning in the EAC region.

APPLICATION PROCESS

The Terms of Reference and details of tender documents can be requested for by email from EACREEE on: info@eacreee.org indicating “Development of the EAC Regional Energy Efficiency Policy”. 

Any queries can be submitted to: info@eacreee.org not later than five (05) days before the submission deadline.

APPLICATION DEADLINE

Interested and qualified applicants should submit their proposals through email by Friday 17th December 2021, 17.00 HRS (5:00PM EAT) to: info@eacreee.org. Late submissions will not be accepted!

EACREEE is under no obligation to award to the lowest or any other bidder and may cancel the whole process at any time without giving any prior notification to the bidders.
