Solar-Med-Atlas Kicks Off Second Phase
After the successful launch of Solar-Med-Atlas, an interactive solar Atlas for the Mediterranean Region partners met to set the work plan for the projects’ second phase. RCREEE, a key project partner, agreed to develop a dynamic renewable energy and Socioeconomic data profiles for the Atlas countries in cooperation with Observatoire Méditerranéen de l’Energie (OME) and under the leadership of Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Partnership (REEEP). RCREEE also presented the outline of its new regional sustainable energy information portal which is currently under development.
The meeting was held on 4 December, 2013 in Jordan, was attended by a consortium of other international organizations including GeoModel Solar, Transvalor, Renewables Academy AG (RENAC), and was led by the German Aerospace Center (DLR).
