November 6th 2012, the Mediterranean Solar Plan held its first working group meeting in Berlin on Perspectives for Know-How Transfer and Capacity Development in and with Southern and Eastern Mediterranean Countries. The Know-how transfer and capacity development are considered among the important building blocks up on which the Master Plan for the Mediterranean Solar Plan will be concluded. RCREEE expert Maged Mahmoud participated in the MSP Working Group meeting dedicated to provide inputs on perspectives in Southern and Eastern Mediterranean Countries in this regard. He presented RCREEE wide range of capacity development and knoweldge sharing efforts. The meeting was attended by representatives from the European Commission, Moroccan Ministry of Energy, BMU, German Development Cooperation (GIZ) GmbH, ENEA, Dii, Desertec Foundation, DUN-Desertec University Network, Ptb, ADEME, DLR, RENAC, ICI, and many other organizations and companies active in the RE development field.
