Jordan: Fixed prices for renewable energy projects
Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources and Minister of Transport, Engineer Alaa Batayneh, in a workshop held in Amman on Sunday 27/1/2012, announced the cabinet decision to adopt fixed prices for renewable energy projects. Further, H.E assured that this decision will accelerate implementation of RE projects. Besides, H.E stressed on the importance of speeding up the implementation of the “green corridor” project that transfers electricity generated by renewable energy sources to raise the capacity of the national grid to accommodate more RE projects.
