Consultancy Services - Impact of Kwamoka Farms and Processing Limited

Kwamoka Farms and Processing Limited (KFPL) is a subsidiary of Kwamoka Group of Companies established to undertake general farming, plantation establishment and development and processing of agricultural products. The company is currently developing 480 hectares (1,200 acres) exotic bamboo and cassava plantations at Jeduako-Kwamang in the Sekyere West District of Ashanti Region of Ghana. The company will utilize the cultivated bamboo as the feedstock for its proposed pellet manufacturing factory.

KFPL in fulfilment of its environmental compliance in respect of the policy, legal and regulatory framework is required by the Environmental Protection Agency Act, 1994 (Act 490) and the Environmental Assessment Regulations 1999 (LI 1652) to be environmentally certified to ensure that its operational activities do not affect the quality of the environment. This statutory compliance is affected through undertaking an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA).

In view of this, ECREEE is seeking to hire a National Consultant to conduct an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) of the project in line with the Terms of Reference (ToR) attached..

INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUBMISSION OF PROPOSALS

1) Proposals, both technical and financial, should be submitted by email to ONLY Impact-kwamoka@ecreee.org, clearly indicating in the subject: «CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR PREPARATION OF ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT STATEMENT FOR KWAMOKA FARMS AND PROCESSING LIMITED».

2) For additional information or request for clarification, please send an email to gkouhie(@)ecreee.org. Please do not copy these email addresse when submitting your proposal(s). Your application will be disqualified if you do so.

3) Proposals should not be submitted on ZIP format or exceed 10MB (total attachment per email)

4) Financial proposal should be submitted in USD

5) THE DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF PROPOSALS IS THE 13TH OF JUNE 2022, 23H00 UTC-1.
