This month, RCREEE team is bidding farewell to our Executive Director, Dr. Ahmed Badr as he prepares to officially leave the office on March 31, 2020  after almost 5 years heading the organization.

Dr. Badr joined RCREEE back in August 2015. Under his directorship, RCREEE formed its new strategic vision and mission for serving our member states and driving energy transition in the region. Dr. Badr also dedicated many efforts to support human resources and gender initiatives ensuring a flourishing , flexible and multicultural work environment. In short time period, RCREEE transformed into a hub for diversified and innovative ideas and projects promoting Sustainable Energy in our Member States.

Dr. Badr thanked RCREEE family members for their dedication and commitment & assured the importance of team collaboration for RCREEE to continue its pioneer role initiating and leading clean energy policy dialogues, strategies in the Arab region.

RCREEE secretariat wishes Dr. Badr the best of luck in his next steps knowing that he will always be RCREEE’s champion.
