“One for All” - Global Network of Regional Sustainable Energy Centers launches virtual library for sustainable energy documents

VIENNA, 6 May 2019, The non-availability of reliable and updated quality information and data is a major barrier for the uptake of sustainable energy technology markets and industries in developing countries.
Particularly in Least Developed Countries (LDCs) and Small Island Developing States (SIDS), domestic policy makers, entrepreneurs and project developers have difficulties to access reliable planning data, lessons learned, as well as templates and tools. The lack of “bankable” energy data also leads to increased market entry costs and risks for international companies, financiers and investors.

To address this shortcoming, the centers of the Global Network of Regional Sustainable Energy Centers (GN-SEC) have launched the “one for all” virtual library, which brings documents and data of various developing regions in “real-time” together.

The global library currently features over 2,000 documents. It is fully automatized, and grows in correlation with the regional knowledge hubs of the individual centers. To access the global library, please go to https://www.gn-sec.net/list/publications
