This was an opportunity for RCREEE to participate in this event dedicated to the advancement of the hydrogen industry, its financing, regulatory aspects and the current and future projects, to meet European and international players and experts in the sector.

RCREEE also participated in a B2G round table, where the Moroccan delegation presented concrete progress and first initiatives of the Moroccan Green Hydrogen Strategy, as well as the perspectives and opportunities offered to Dutch and European companies.

Dr Jauad got the occasion to visit the Port of Rotterdam and witness the current and the future green hydrogen projects to be implemented soon, and also he met with the major of Rotterdam Mr Ahmed Aboutaleb with whom he discussed potential cooperation with the Netherlands in the areas of green hydrogen and water-energy-food nexus. He also got the occasion to meet representatives from the Dutch ministry of foreign affairs and the Dutch ministry of economic affairs and climate policy with whom he discussed the way to boost regional cooperation.

Dr Jauad discussed also potential cooperation with the Moroccan (IRESEN, MASEN..), Omani, Egyptian and Dutch participants. In particular he discussed green hydrogen projects in Egypt and climate funds in view of the COP27 to be held in Egypt next November
