RCREEE’s participation in the Solar Keymark Network meeting
The Global Certification for Solar Thermal Products is an initiative to present of the first steps taken by the Solar Keymark Network towards the creation of a Global Mark for solar thermal products. SKN organized a workshop in the 5th of September, in Spain to show the recent development of the project along with other global experiences. RCREEE participated in the workshop and presented ArSol (Arab Solar Certification Program) which will be included at the final report that explains the certification programs worldwide. RCREEE senior expert, MSc. Eng. Ashraf Kraidy, was assigned as a representative for the Arab countries.
MSc. Eng. Ashraf Kraidy, attended The SKN meeting followed the workshop, along with representatives from USA as guests, the official network members consisted of the network chairman, Harald Drück, the network secretary, Jan Erik Nielsen, and representatives from certification bodies, testing facilities and European industries. The meeting’s agenda included many topics such as certification scheme updates and internal regulations were discussed.
