September 30, Dr Tabitha Boutros, The Sudanese State Minister for Water Resources and Electricity announced the launching of the Sudanese National Energy Efficiency Action Plan (NEEAP). The announcement took place during the national workshop organized by the Sudanese ministry of Water Resources and Electricity, the League of Arab States and RCREEE.
In addition, the Egyptian NEEAP will be officially launched during the workshop planned to be held on the 5th of November 2012 under the patronage of the Minister of Energy and Electricity and organized also in cooperation of RCREEE.
RCREEE stood behind the preparation process of the Sudanese NEEAP as well as the Egyptian NEEAP which comes within RCREEEE’s mission to promote strategies favorable to Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency.
