RCREEE dedicates the 8th round of the Arab Program for Sustainable Energy Youth (APSEY) to Syrian interns

After the success of seven rounds of the Arab Program for Sustainable Energy Youth (APSEY), The Regional Center for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency is fully dedicating APSEY 8th round to interns from the Arab Republic of Syria. 

RCREEE in cooperation with the OPEC Fund for international Development (OFID) plan to start the new round in May 2017. The OFID support for APSEY started in 2014 and was extended in September of 2016 for interns from Yemen, Sudan, Palestine, Djibouti, Mauritania and Syria.

Since the launch of APSEY, RCREEE hosted around 43 interns from its 17 member states. The program aims to foster young Arab professional’s knowledge of renewable energy and energy efficiency topics, and to develop their professional skills of presentation, corporate culture and a professional environment.
