European Council funded project MEDPRO ; Prospective Analysis for the Mediterranean Region held its High-Level Stakeholders meeting in Cairo from 12 -13 January 2013. During the meeting, MEDPRO researchers,experts from various organizations and civil society representatives discussed the MEDPRO scenarios and policies regarding immigration, economic integration, energy and environment focusing on Egypt. RCREEE’s senior expert Maged Mahmoud participated in the meeting where he discussed energy related issues and explained some implications the development of RE&EE policies in the region.
