Schneider Electric in Egypt has established the first solar power plant, on 170-square-meter, in El-Farafra Oasis, New Valley Governorate. This place is characterized by brightly sun throughout the year. The plant produces 108 kWh / day which satisfy the oasis basic needs of electricity for homes and basic amenities.
