26th MICRO-GRID ACADEMY Module #3 - Online Training

RES4Africa Foundation, with the sponsorship of Enel Foundation and together with its partners Strathmore University, AVSI Foundation, Kenya Power and Lighting Company, St. Kizito VTI, EACREEE and EWiEn is launching the 26th Micro-Grid Academy training session. The course will be held online on the 29th and 30th, of November 2022, on the 1st of December, and between the 5th and the 7th of the same month.  

This training edition aims to provide students with a comprehensive overview of MGA-Module 3 on "Decentralised Renewable Energy, System Design, O&M and Safety".

The target beneficiaries will comprise 120 technicians, students, operators, entrepreneurs, and REs professionals from all African States, with participants from East African countries and females of any age particularly encouraged to apply.

The course will be delivered via video e-lectures; additionally, the training will be complemented if possible, with one or more field visits to St. Kizito’s mini-grid facility in Nairobi, and/or  to the Strathmore University Research Center or to potential facilities in other countries (Ethiopia & Uganda).

Upon successful completion of the training, the participants will receive a certificate of attendance, which will be granted to the trainees who will have attended at least 70% of the total amount of training hours, and who will have successfully taken the final exam and survey. 

To register, applicants are required to fill out the application form, uploading their CV and letter of motivation in pdf format, and sending a notification email to info@microgridacademy.org.
