The Regional Center for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (RCREEE) and Izmir Institute of Technology (IZTECH) recently signed a new MoU to join their efforts in advancing renewable energy principals.

The MoU covers various cooperation areas including knowledge exchange and awareness for energy programs, RE&EE technological innovations, policy and financial mechanisms as well as joint collaboration on research activities and projects.

Moreover, the two parties will hold joint capacity building activities to support renewable energy, energy efficiency, energy-water-food nexus, water desalination, green hydrogen and environmental researches and projects.

RCREEE and IZTECH also aim to identify synergies, exchanging know-how and promoting RE&EE development on national and regional levels with the aim of replicating success stories.
