This report addresses the solar radiation and wind data available for Fiji. Guides to the use of these data, for the design of electricity generating systems using solar and wind energy, are included in annexes to the report. The actual time history records of solar radiation, wind speed and wind direction are found in a CD delivered to OPRET with this document.

The objective of this report is to document renewableenergy data that the author managed to obtain from different sources. Emphasis
was placed in the rural sector1. Data was gathered and catalogued as input to the design of electricity generating systems that use renewable energy. For the sake of completeness some pertinent material used during training is reproduced here as annexes.
